The Butterfly Stranger

Just a note before you read, I wrote this to a friend to try and cheer her up.. This is as happy as my writing gets..
The Butterfly Stranger
Butterflies dance in the angel's eyes
The young girl lost in a world of cries
Afraid to ask for a friendly hand
Her heart sinks with each grain of sand..
Her eyes are deep, a mighty blue
Her smile changing with each passing mood
Yet her soul is heavy, and aches the same
Her pride around her, tears refrained...
The butterfly dances around her crimson tear
A man extends his hand to bring her cheer
Tightly he clasped her hands together
As below them lay the angels feather
He strokes her cheek and speaks so sweet
To her his words a dazzling feat
The butterfly flutters about their faces
As their hearts run rampant races
His words fall to her ears
"My love, please do not fear
For we are gathered here
Our triumph growing near
Happiness I will bring to thee
And your heart will again be free..
For I am yours, I hear your cries
Command me now, I speak no lies"
The butterfly falls to rest
As the angel holds it close to her chest...
Such a burden she holds so dear
Her heart bleeding with fear...
He unclenches her fists to see
The butterfly falling free..
Smiling lovingly to her face
Then pointing above her into space.
"Love look there and cry no more
For surely this one became four
Above you the rainbow shines
and gaieties you will find..
This butterfly had served its purpose
It's kin have begun to surface."
Above her head they flew
Together the fluttering brood
A smile stretched across her face
As her mind began to give chase
To the millions of butterflies to bring her cheer
And that friend who took away her fear
The butterflies danced about her in a loving pace
As she lay tugging at the tattered lace
That wrapped her heart once upon a time
Her heart now free from the horrid crime...
