I've never heard of Bill Hicks either.

I think that most people that have never heard of Hicks still know his routines, generally focused on religion, drugs, smoking and children and his delicious hatred of them

Hicks died about 10 years ago, never starred in any movies, was not on SNL, and did not have a TV show. But his standup was sharp, biting and memorable.

Buy the DVD!!! It is cheap and at over 3 hours contains three of his absolute best stand up routines. You will be amazed at how much of it you already know
