Meh. I'm far more excited about today's 10th anniversary release of The Downward Spiral in 5.1. Just think about the warm, dark Jamaican bobsled team of angst it's offering in surround sound! Rapturous!
Also, did this just edit out Jamaican bobsled team?

Listening to it right now. Sounds pretty good. I will have to pick it up when I have money again.

listened to it over at a freak's house last night....i thought it was a lot better than the first one(which i liked a lot),and have been listening to it ever since....the new california uber alles lyrics are golden....and the new versions of two of the songs off the last album are a lot better.... i liked the cooper cover.....

I picked this up the other day on a whim at Disc Exchange, partly because it was so cheap. This is going to need some repeat listens to grow on me. Loved that there was an AC cover, and had to buy it when I saw a new governatored version of California Uber Alles.
All in all, not bad. I did not like the first pairing at all, and this one is better, but what it really did was just reaffirm how much I would just like a new Melvins album. In fact, I wished this was a new Melvins album.
I hate to say it, but Jello sounded great with the DK's. Hell, he was the DK's. But I just cannot take his voice seriously in any other musical fashion. I prefer him now as a spoken word performer, and think that is where he really shines.
