I've got really old computers, parts, and disks sitting in the garage. I've got a couple of old Atari 800 computers, an Amiga computer or two, a Macintosh, and various misc. computer parts and accessories. I really don't want to throw them in a landfill. I'd like to see them get into the hands of collectors. Or maybe the best solution is take them to be "recycled" someplace. But I don't know where that would be.

Any suggestions?

Use the parts to make a robot to take over the world.

well now...

I am a collector of old systems, but i rarely pay for them. I would suggest checking out ebay and see what they are going for. If you are going to scrape them, i would definately like to have a look.

Hmmmm.

I briefly looked on eBay. I suppose I could unload all my Atari computer gear for maybe $100. Maybe. But now I'm getting sentimental. I'm not sure the floppy drive works anymore. If the floppy drive still worked, I might keep it. I can't help thinking that there's gotta be some bizarre way I could network it with my other computers. Or maybe I'm smoking too much crack.

There's no such thing as too much crack.

Amiga, you say? *lifts eyebrows*

Yes, eBay is certainly the way to go. All of those are highly sought by the geek collectors among us.

Especially among the emulator hackers.
