I know it's cold outside but come on out and warm up with us at the coffee house. Hot cocoa, hot coffees, yummy cookies, and other assorted snacks. Loretta has been so good to us for so long, don't let a little cold weather stop us from showing our full support to her. Besides, I'd love to see lots of you! Soo....who's coming out? I'll be there this Friday, as per usual, arriving between 8 - 8:30.

I have my doubts that I will be there. I have X-Mas shopping plans with Vampyrya and friends that night and with the crowds and obnoxious people we may just get arrested. *hugs*

I understand...I'm doing some shopping this Thursday and next Thursday. We need to get together and do some shopping sometime soon!

I'll most likely be there, but it will probably be early, due to the fact that I live right down the street, and I want to actually speak to a few people.

Well it was nice to see that very few people showed up to 11th Street. I know that it is cold and what not, but if you want to be there next summer/spring or whatever, you need to come out and support the people who support us. I can understand previous arrangements and whatnots, but there were a total of 8 people there when I left around 9pm. If more people just decided to show up later, then I stand corrected.

However, the point remains the same that we need to support those who have supported us.

There was more than 8 people when I was there. People kinda drift in and out of that place, that's all.

I agree with Coor and yes, more people did show up later but it's a lot harder to get the porch full and brimming over with people right now, with the weather as cold as it is. The bad part is, this is the time with Loretta needs our loyalty more than ever. I know the post got eaten when the system was breached last week or so but 11th Street was robbed a couple weeks back...some asshole stole the $10's and $20's along with some checks that were in the drawer so it's taking everything Loretta has to keep her head above water on this. From what I heard, she ONLY stayed open that late last night because of us. She's been closed well before 8 every day that I've been by there that isn't a Friday. I think we definitely need to show her appreciation by showing up and supporting this.

Ok...that's my rant.

I didn't stay long. Just wasn't feeling it.
When I was there, I thought there was a decent amount of people there due to how cold it was. People were by the back porch, too.

I know....people straggled in and I expect the weather to impact the number of people BUT I have to agree with Coor in supporting those who support you. Loretta has been very loyal to us....I think that we all need to return the favor. I am not saying there wasn't a decent turnout last night because when it was all said and done, it was a pretty good turnout but just not as good as it had been a couple months ago. I get scared thinking about that place not being there though. You did show up though so don't take any of this personally against you.

It's not even meant to be a strike against anyone really....just a call to arms. A plea to try to do what we all can to give Loretta the support she needs during this time.
