Team Stormfront accepting new members
Team Stormfront accepting new members
We had a meeting Sunday and signed up 15 members and we have about 10 others that have stated that they wish to participate as well. Still accepting members.Website should be up soon( I promise!)
After two meetings and and one field training session, team Stormfront is up and running. Though only 9 members showed for the first training and 2 had to leave, we met 5 potentaly new members as well while on the field.
This coming Saturday, we will be engaging a local team so we will have our first trial by fire.
If everyone that is supposed too shows up, then our number will stand at between 15 and 20. Join up and in on the fun today!

yeah i hear they are pretty sweet. i don't play enough at the moment to justify a really nice gun. right now i have spyder e-99. which really is not that bad of a gun. a few cheap mods are required, but after that its rather reliable and pretty accurate.
the next gun i get will probably be an impulse. i have always liked smartparts.

i had to do a little bit to mine to get it playable
the expansion chamber sucks, when you get up to 8-10 rounds a second it blows mostly liquid CO, the barrel sucks, you have to use a good electroic hopper or else you will only chop balls. and the bolt sucks.
replace the low pressure and expansion chambers, get a good barrel and a venturi bolt, and you are good to go

A very eventful weekend! First of all, let me thank my fellow 'Stormtroopers' for their participation and effort.
On Saturday, we had 10 people actually play and 4 in a support role.We ran into a father teaching his 3 sons how to play. I asked him to join in and they did. All had a good time but, boy were we sore later! We did a little tactical move to contact and room clearing on a building. We did a center flag game. John lead Alpha squad and Stephan, Beta; I reffed. Alpha won in almost record time. The second was a team elimination with Beta victorious at the end of the time limit ( they had more plyers still in the game at the end of the time limit ). I lead Alpha for the second team elimination game. At the end of the game, Alpha won again for the same reason as before.
On Sunday, we had 7 people at a new field that a new member who joined our ranks Sat. It's located right behind his house! We engaged in 3 games only because we got a late start in the day. The first game was the Fox Hunt. John lead his six against me. I eliminated 4 before I finally had to surrender due to lack of ammo. The second game was another center flag game (3 on 4 ). Heath, Rustin and myself against John, Claire, Alex, and Nick. My side won. And the last official game was a game of Oddball. 3 even teams. John and Claire, Alex and Heath, and Nick and myself with Rustin as ref. Though Alex& Heath were the last ones standing, John and Claire won due to the fact that they posessed the "ball" the longest.
We had considered on getting together but it just didn't materialize. Everyone did quite well considering that some had never played before. Common mistakes were made by all but I think they are very promissing and I think that after a few bumps are smoothed out, we have a very good team shapeing up! So watch out world 'cause here they come!

To be honest, after what I say in them this weekend, none of these guys are ready. I've got my work cut out for me but in about a year, look out!
