Do you know of a good seamstress? I am looking for one so I can get some corsetry made that can stand up to my... endowments. As we saw in erins pictures.... No ordinary corset is enough. ;o)

Making corsets is something i've always wanted to do. i like making stuff, and i loooove corsets. But, like many of my other great projects in life, all my corset making stuff is just laying around in a pile.
As far as finding a corset to fit, depends on your budget and what you are looking for(fashion, waist training, or both). E-bay is definately your friend though.
My dream.... Vercace just came out with a new line of steel boned corsets. *drool* For some odd reason i doubt i'll be finding those on e-bay any time soon. *pouts*

I almost gave up on corsets.
Had one, and well. Had kids, and though my tummie went back to normal, up top didn't. I need to find either a corset, or a pattern that would support a 36/38DD.

On a differant note, I have to say that I love Wal Mart.
Got a crushed velvet type outfit for 6.00
Floor length crimson skirt, and crimson button up shirt with black designs. If I get a pic of it, should I post it?
If anyone is curious, let me know.

I don'tknow if she has the time to do it herself right now but LadyB is a profesional costume designer and I am sure she could point you in the right direction if you want one made.

Marcia from Lady Maeve's Closet in St. Louis, makes custom corsets. I personally do not know of anyone that has had a corset made from her, so you might want to email her to get any details you have questions on. I made Marcia's acquaintance while visiting St. Louis.
