Mo Cuishle!



This movie is excellent. Clint Eastwood has done it again. It's not just a boxing movie. It's a drama that manages to get you to care more about the people themselves instead of whether or not the boxer wins the fight. The real fight is spiritual. Kind of like how last year's Mysic River (also directed by Eastwood) wasn't just about a murder mystery but about fighting the demons within.

I managed to download a rip of the DVD screener that Warner Bros. distributed for the purposes of review. I can't wait to see this on the big screen.

Go see it when it finally opens here in Knoxville this weekend. Find out why many people (myself included) are convinced that it will win a number of Oscars this year.

i wanna see i've become quite a big clint eastwood fan
i hated his whole dirty harry / every which way but loose era

but i'm digging up all the old classic westerns and loving them more and more

honky tonk man (not a western but awesome!!!)

You should see Mystic River before you see Million Dollar Baby. If all you're only used to is his older material, MDB will come as a shock.

To hell with them, buzzards gotta eat same as worms.
