I used to have a lesbian vampyre (not "vampire", vampyre) friend who needed a place to live on short notice, so she moved into the closet of my apartment bedroom (it was a freaking huge closet, but she didn't sleep in it), and instead of rent, she gave me this amazing, very simple black velvet dress, kinda like the Hellraiser look only without the leather or straps or anything - just plain black velvet - and I was, as Prince would say, "one sexy motherfucker" in that thing.
But, when I wear skirts or dresses, it's not cross-dressing; I don't want to look like a girl and wear make-up and all that sillyness. I just think that dividing clothing into gender is goofy.
