hello folks - haven't had much to post in awhile. just been silently lurking; but, I thought I'd let you know about an upcoming appearance of one of your fellow bretheren...

Sunday , March 13th @ NV in Nashville...

2 of our resident DJs, Ichabod and Starr, both have local radio shows that can be heard online via http://www.wrvu.org - Ichabod's show is called "Out ov the Coffin" - It's on Thursdays at Midnight. Starr's is named "Apotheosis" - it airs Sundays from 12-2pm.

Since we've added a second DJ booth upstairs - there will be 2 rooms of music! Mainroom (downstairs) - "Dark Alternative" aka "Everything Goes"! Upstairs - EBM, TerrorPop, Industrial, Hard-Synth, etc...

Sometime during the evening - there will be a VIDEO MIX SET!

On this night doors will open at 8:00pm instead of 9:00pm.
So, the free cover for those 21 and up will be from 8-8:30 instead of 9-9:30.

Also on this night cover will be $7.00 for 21 + after 8:30, $9.00 for those 18-20

Cover charge and opening time will return to normal the following week.

Slight correction:

"Out ov the Coffin" airs from 11pm - 1am (central time). While I'm here, I should mention that the show also has its own MySpace page, with playlists and further info:

I think it's along the same lines as "Terror EBM." On the West Coast, at least, that's what they like to call bands like Suicide Commando, Hocico, Amduscia, etc... Harsh vocals over electronic dance beats, in layman's terms...

I'm guessing it's a reactionary term that would work against "futurepop." On one hand, I think it takes hair-splitting to a new level. On the other hand, I could understand why they'd want to distinguish themselves from bands like Apop or Wolfsheim. I'd rather just call it industrial, myself. What happened to that?
