Well, I can't really help you with a car (I don't have any spares sitting around) but I would like to make a suggestion that may be helpful in other matters for you.

You really should consider the use of the period ( . ) as it makes it clear when you're ending a sentence. That post appears to be one giant run-on sentence, which I'm sure is not what you actually intended.

The biggest problem with this is that it distracts from your actual message, which is that you need someone who has an inexpensive car he or she is willing to sell, and who is willing to take payments from you for purchase of said car. I think I also understand that you would like a '90s model car, in good repair, with a 4 cylinder engine. I also understand that you are unable to pay more than $4000 for a car. Is that correct?

Try looking in the paper...you might be able to find a for-sale-by-owner type thing.

You're more likely to get some help if we can understand what you're saying. Reformat your sentence structure and try again, kthx.

WTF? You are asking absolute strangers to finance a car for you?

Sorry, you are on your own pal, just like most of us who had less than helpful parents....

Um..try the classifieds?

There are a lot of local car places that will finace you with a small downpayment for about 50 dollars a week. If you offer them about 60% of their asking price in cash though or sometimes as low as twice the downpayment they will often take it. The car lots that offer $700 down, and 50 a week, for a $2000 car, work like this. They only HAVE $700 in the car, so as soon as you make the downpayment there is no possibility of losing money for them. That's why they'll finance anyone. If you offer them $1400 in cash for a car they have $700 in, then they are imeddiately doubling their money with no risk, and there's a good chance they'll take it. They won't do this for the more high end cars that move fast, but if you cruise by one of those lots, see a car sitting there for a month or more, there's a good chance they'll take the lower amount in cash just to turn the car over.

If you have any questions about a car you see just send me a message. My mom taught me how to buy cars and I've seen her make a salesman cry before.

Thats exactly what I was thinking!HeeHee!You really need to practice that.It comes in handy if you plan to go on in school. They are extremely picky about that sort of thing. But on the subject of cars.....Places like Frontier Motors on Kingston pike usually will let you make payments on a car, even if you have no credit or bad credit. But you will need at least a $500 down payment. Also the more you have as a downpayment, the lower your bimonthly or monthly payments are going to be. Good luck and Bless ed Be. ;)

I've got a late 80's(88 i think) Olds Cutlass sierra sitting in my garage.

It belonged to my buddies great aunt. He got it when she passed away.

It was literally driven to church on sunday and to the grocery store on wensday. Its got about 40k miles on it.

The drivers door needs to be fixed or replaced. It was damaged cause my friend is dumb and tried to push the car up a hill and it got away from him and rolled into a tree. I think it can be fixed with a jack just forcing the door up and bending the bent mount back in place. But it could probably be replaced cheap if you don't care if the paint color match.

Its got an Olds Quad Four which is one of the best 4 cyclinder engines ever built. Many many open wheel race cars run these motors so its a good motor.

As far as I know it only needs a battery and it'll run.

Say $550 as is
