Yeah, I've been following along with the updates for over a year now. I've grown rather anxious. I'm due around the time it comes out, but I'll still be making my best attempt to waddle in there and see it.

Been following this for about 2 years, around the time rumors started. Been trying to beat the game before the movie comes out.

I went through the entire game, got to the last stage, and stopped playing it. Didn't want to finish the game. This was about 4+ or so years ago (college).

Many people, myself included, were disappointed by the quality of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Plot interest aside, the characters did not look real enough. The skin textures, facial expressions and dialog synch all left a lot to be desired.

However, the producers and artists didn't give up; they learned from their mistakes and perfected their techniques. The next production from the Final Fantasy team was "The Animatrix: Final Flight of the Osiris" and, as all who have enjoyed the opening katana duel sequence will attest, they have perfected their technique.

Look closely at the skin textures and how they have depth and reflection and imperfections and I think you’ll agree.

The news that the team that brought us Final Flight (tell me you never noticed that nuance in the title) is making another Final Fantasy movie is most welcomed! I'm anxiously awaiting this new CGI spectacle.
