I once had a dream of you.
In that dream all things were true.
But now I see I had not a clue.
This is my life because of you.
I loved you once but now its faded.
Because of the things in me you hated.
"Is this the end?" I then debated.
Because our love had been ill- fated.
This is my life because of you.
I realize now that it was not meant to be.
And that is why I can now be free.
To soar high with unclipped wings.
This is what I had wished for...Of all things.
This is my life because of you.
No longer do I ever have to feel blue.
This is my life because of you.
