i don't think a good scare is going to be available - at least, not commercially. and maybe not even legally.

of course, you could always create your own haunted house. just murder a bunch of people, and make it cool.

ghosts are only attracted to the places they've died, when their murderer was cool. or at least popular on a google search.

I'm sure all of these suck much more than what Ripley's has, but here is a list of all the local attractions.

The Haunted Cave

Corn Maze / Trail of Doom

Factory of Darkness

Professor Lockjaw's Odd-Itorium and Midway of the Macabre

Heh, I was going to prop up the Professor Lockjaw's Odd-Itorium myself. I work with the guy that is running it.

Heh heh.

There's one in Sevierville (of course).

A few years ago they did the "burning homosexuals" room. That was my favorite.

Just come to my hose any given morning in that time after I wake and before I get coffee......the screams will be bountiful.

Got a specific address? I love the look on the church member's faces when I tell them, "No Bible for me, thanks. I just came to reaffirm my lack of faith."

The haunted cave blew goat balls. We stood in line for an hour to take a 5 minute walk through the cave, only to have high school kids in Wal-Mart masks jump out at us. The cave has potential, but there was no Blood, no guts, no torture or murder scenes. Nada. Our "tour guide" was a 17 year old preppy chick who sounded like she was reading mindlessly from a fucking queue card. The whole experience was extremely annoying. A total waste of $8 and a can of pork and beans.

Agreed. And the benches were not studry at all...The cabve would have been cooler if you got to walk around by yourself and had people that looked like they were in Deliverance chase you...

Sorry rednecks terrify me.
