• Roller Derby

I've been kicking around the idea for a while, and I think it'd be kinda cool to start an all-girl roller derby league in Knoxville. I don't know if it would really fly here, so give me a show of hands if you'd be interested in kicking some ass in the rink.

I used to love roller skatiing as a kid. My stepmom was a co owner of the rink in lenoir city.

I see that roller derbies are becoming popular again in various cities, but honestly I don't know a damn thing about it or what it involves.

actually, my friend Noelle brought the idea up to me a few weeks ago, and is quite serious about it. She has at least three people interested. If you want I can put you in touch.

Oh I know Noelle, I could totally see her doing roller derby now that I reseached it a bit.

can i be the coach
cause i know how the sport works i have followed it most of my life dating back to the 1980s and my fav team the L.A. T Birds and when roller games came on early 1990s i watched it and even when spike tv tried the roller jam concept (which was to much like wrestling)i watched but anyway i here for ya if you need a coach

I'm not talented enough to actually do it...I am an extremely clumsy person...

Penalties are given to skaters who block illegally, fight or behave in an unsportsmanlike manner. Penalties can be given after each jam or at the end of a period.

Thats so awesome! I had the exact same Idea...but I'm glad someone posted it first. I don't have the ability to get people interested in my ideas....But I'm totally in....
