Tickets went on sale at the free-will site this morning for the Dir en grey show in NYC on March 21st. I want to go to this, I need to go to this, but I'm not paying for a flight so I'd love to get a carpool group together to go to this and to split the costs of gas and a hotel room. If there are any Diru fans on here that want to do this please contact me. So far the tix are on sale for registered members of Free-will, but starting this Saturday they go on sale to the general public.

Tix are $29. Fans in Japan have to pay a butt-load more to see them live.

 I must go to this. I don't think I can afford the trip, though. Give me a few days to round up some extra cash and I'll get back to you.

BITCHIN'!

Hmm, i can't help but worry about how this is probably an attempt to americanize them, though. I swear, if diru becomes mainstream i'm going to piss on Jack Thompson's hand. Well, i was going to do that anyway, but the point is that MTV played the clever sleazoid video, and that is simply not good.

In the midst of my excitement, I had a brainfart. I should've posted the relevant URL. Here it is.

We're talking about MTV Europe right?

Speaking of "Clever Sleazoid", I think that's one of their worst songs they've released. I would've never have guessed Kyo was singing English in that song until I saw the PV with the lyrics printed on the bottom. However, I do like the line from the songs that you used for your tagline. "One day I will fuck your parents."

I like to pretend it's a different band. I don't think it's much of anything impressive, but i do apprecciate the aggressiveness of it. Oh, fun fact - in the censored version, the lines "doing meaningless shit over and over" and "one day i will fuck your parents" are changed to "doing meaningless sunshine over and over" and, my personal favorite, "one day i will rainbow your parents."

Haven't been back on here. Yeah, I saw that they sold out at some point the day after. That really sucks. However, I would check their site from time to time just to see if they open up anymore. There's a possibility of one hundred more tickets getting released, but I don't find message boards information completely reliable.

Just to keep this thread going, here's the Yurameki CLEVER SLEAZOID Pv's. I expect a five paragraph essay comparing and contrasting the two videos on my desk tomorrow at the beginning of class.
