actually it is official and is sponsored by Interscope records - it was even announced well in advance of the post party at temple - i doubt the word official is what caused the frown face - but i cant say for sure what did

No, I understand that it is officially sponsored, so of course you can say that it's "official." I read it with perhaps a dual meaning. There are now two very similar events posted on the KG forum, but one is "official," possibly (unintentionally) implying that the other is not, and somehow lesser...

Of course, this is only how I read it, and am by no means putting words into anyone's mouth. I don't have an investment at all in these nights, so this is just my "observer" standpoint.

we were actually asked by our interscope rep to use the word in our flyer and any text that had the name Interscope on it - so yeah, its a perk , but its a manditory perk, and by no means was it ever intended to indicate that either event is better or lesser - temple and the KGB events (Sanctus and KGB Special events) have had a long and good relationship with each other catering to the different needs of a simular crowd, a relationship i think we all wish to maintain

Just hope everyone keeps this in mind. Remember those matchsticks when you were a kid....one breaks easily but a group is much stronger and harder to break. We all need to support each other to keep the scene alive.

Well, I'm stuck in Chattanooga on weekends but will be back in town Monday to attend the after show party.

I'll be there early as well since I don't have a ticket.

(But I'm sure those attending the concert will be successully shitfaced by the time you get to BlueCats)
