Life goes on...

I'm going through a major change in my life right now. I'll be coming to Knoxville the weekend of the WIF 2.5 preparty and I will stay in Knoxville for about 3 weeks looking for a job and a place to live. I'm an ICU nurse and hoping to find a travel assignment (13 week assignment & they pay your room & board) while I'm in town. I'm seriously thinking of moving to K-ville and this will give me time to explore and see if I really like it. I hope to be coming to Temple more regularly while I'm in town, so if anyone wants the rundown, I'll be happy to talk. I'll be looking to my K-ville crowd for help with things like directions and "Where's a good sushi bar?". You all have been great friends to me every time I've been up for a visit, and I look forward to being able to spend more time with everyone. Thank You in advance, and I'll see you guys in a couple of weeks.

Clarification: I haven't lost my job or my home or anything, just relocating for personal reasons. I truly appreciate all the love I've already been shown, you guys are the reason I want to move.
Thanks So Much

directions, i can't help you with. i generally point and say "that way."
sushi?
tomo's for quality, bq's for quantity. the latter has some sunnier days, where you can get a fuckload of freshness for seven bucks.
haven't tried nama yet, but there's a thread about it in the eating out forum.

Nama is definitely the best sushi bar. Everything they have is super fresh, grade A fish and I have never had a complaint with anything there. They have a great selection of booze too apparently.
The last few times I went to Tomo, the service was atrocious and there was chicken gristle in my yakisoba.
My mother was an RN and still works for St. Mary's Hospital. She has worked at many area hospitals and she just loves it there.

I'm not sure if I met you at the masquerade or not, but glad to hear you're making it to Knoxville.
