I remember reading in MetroPulse (or on the website) of some little french resturant somewhere. They liked it espically for the fact that it was chef owned and run, somewhere in knoxville.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? lol

I've been trying to find the article again, but can't seem to.

EDIT:
Found the name, put it in subject, anyone have exprience with this place?

Haven't tried it yet, but we have it flagged as a future date spot.

Eh it's okay... It's more American French than traditional French. But when it comes to French cuisine, I'm spoiled. To me, it's not real if it doesn't have tongue on the menu. :/

Does it count if I lick the menu when I go?

Its actually Belgian French instead of Traditonal French with a bit of Flemish thrown in for good measure.

My mom always hated the french. So I have a small prejudice against them though jean pierre jeunet and audrey tatou have helped me overcome it somewhat.

It's ok. Just remember, it's very mainstream to hate the French, and that'll help you get over it. :)
