Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor)

A Russian flick that made its way to the US this year. It hit some select theaters and had literally NO advertising. In Russia it broke box office records. I stumbled across it on quicktime movie trailers page and found that it's already released on DVD here. It's the first movie in a trilogy (Night Watch, Day Watch, Dusk Watch) and based off three books by the same name (I don't know if they've been translated to English, but I am going to find out, as I want to read them).
Holy shit, this was a cool movie! It's wierd, and a little hard to follow at first, but if you stick with it, it starts to make sense and apparently the second movie brings it even more together.
This is possibly the best vampire movie I have ever seen and it's certainly the best vampire movie in recent history.
