So.. what are some good dating sites? Where have people found good times and a little success. Any places to avoid like the plague? General info and all that.

I've found that
the real world is a good place to start. Get off the computer and go find a girl!
Okay, that sounded kind of bitchy, sorry.
But hey, if you're set on it, I've heard good things about these sites...

Real world? Pft
Confidence issues. I'd rather sit behind a computer screen and introduce myself. Bad yes, but eh. Better than making a fool of myself in person first.

I joined GM a few years ago when I wasn't single, trying to meet new people for friends. I've still got an account. It's not a bad site though.

I met my boyfriend on myspace...
Sad but true....we've been together over a year now...
Paladin, the truth is, girls are afraid to meet guys on the internet unless you have pictures that are quite true to how you look. Luckily my boyfriend was attractive in the pics and willing to meet up with me at Temple.
So, if you are going with the internet, you have to be attractive enough in pictures to hold interest. If you aren't so attractive, your personality in real life will have to win them over.

So, do you really think it's my picture that scares people off?

That DID sound a bit bitchy...
Besides, the real world sucks - it's got
people in it.

I don't really think that holds true for most girls. Confidence is HUGE, charm, as well as a general sense of integrity. I think these are far more important than a nice bod/face. Plus, beauty is subjective.
Paladin, just be yourself. If you don't know who/what this is, then find out. Myspace might be a good place for you because you can network and look for friends (And possible mates) without it looking like you're scouting for a woman. It takes the edge off of getting to know someone, because you can be JUST friends. Whereas on dating sites it's sort of obvious. Make an account, we're probably all on there. You can add me. myspace.com/2216672

Yeah, I don't understand the appeal of a sex doll at all. I'm sorry, but I can please me with my hands way better than anything else. Sex is for pleasing the other person. You can't please a doll.

And the part about being yoruself is true. I don't really know who that is, just some vague sense. And I've had myspace for a while, got a few of you peeps on it, but feel free to add.

Well.. a good number of guys don't really care about pleasing the other person Wayne, lol. They just want to get "theirs" I think the doll needs a sound upgrade where certain "pressure points" will trigger sound effects. Then she would be the ultimate realdoll. Read the FAQs, they cracked me up. They never cease to crack me up.
They also make the transvetite, check it outttt

It's a good thing this thread is in the dumpster already; if it weren't, I'd have to put it here.
