Sho Wishes Visitors

Hi all. I know it's been a long while since anyone's heard or seen from me. Mainly, it's been a personal fight of dealing with my physical and mental health. Sadly, I have found that, since I have spent so much time dealing with my own personal problems, I have lost contact with many friends, or they have moved/gone back to school.

That said, I'm in a bit of a spot. I have really large problems driving places; I ignored it for a long time, but I have realized that it is a serious issue. It's bad enough where I actually fear driving as far as a majority of Knoxville.

So why am I yammering on? Well, I guess I was wondering if anyone would like to meetup around the Clinton/Claxton/Oak Ridge area? I figure that it'd be a good way to meet people, find people to hang out with on a regular basis, as well as maybe a ride to Temple (when finally that comfortable).

Sorry if I wasn't clear, or I was too whiney. Thanks to any who respond.

May I be nosey and inquire as to what physical/mental issues you suffer from?

Also, how old are you?

My sister lives off of 441 in Heiskell with my parents who are rather cool. They come to 11th street coffee house most fridays...I could see if they'd be willing to give you a ride...

You're not whiny, sweetling.

Certainly, you can be nosey. It is a combination of a neurological disorder called Asperger's, and the physical response to a combination of anxiety, OCD, and an anxious form of depression. Yeah...a big mouthful.
I'm 19; that's sort of why I'm so embarrassed to have mentioned my need for help. That would be really fantastic if I was able to join in.

Thanks for the reassurance. I hate being a bother, and I often fear it to be the case.

I was asking just because we don't need any lepers hanging 'round...j/k

I have anxiety and depression issues, as I'm sure most of us do.

If I hadn't met you once before (quickly at masquerade ball via drunken karlaboo) I would have been wary of you having aspergers.

I know a guy who frequents 11th and temple who I think has Aspergers and he gives me the major creeps. Most people in this crew are mildly socially retarded but he takes it to major extremes. My sons cousin has aspergers and the kid just amazes me.

Wherebouts do you live?

My sister is 16 and just relocated there from Florida and is going to ACHS...she could use more friends I'm sure.

 Well, I'm certainly not leprous. Got alittle bit of soriasis (sp?) from time to time, but definitely am not a leper or contagious.

*nods* I can definitely understand the wariness. I've seen a few individuals like that, and they're even enough to induce a shudder or two from me. I'm not all that bad; I just seem to not understand the "rules" for things, and so I come out awkward at times, or a little too talkative.

Oh wow, she is really far from home. I'm actually not that far away from ACHS. I live in Clinton. If you're familiar with the area, I'm up the hill, across the street from Food City and Git N' Go.

Actually she was far from home in florida. She was born here and lived here tils he was 13 or 14 and then moved there. I'm glad she's back here with her family.

My parents will be coming from not to far behind the IGA near Norris. If you are interested in coming in tonight, you can IM me on yahoo - notadirtyhippie

Oh! :D That's great that she's back then! Um, I'm not quite sure if I'm up for it, just yet (a few unexpected medical problems have come up at home), but I'll certainly send you an IM regardless.
