If you know what MAME is, skip this: MAME stands for Multi-Arcade Machine Emulator. Bluntly put, it emulates arcade games.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you knew where I could possibly buy an old arcade cabinet to setup one of these fine machines? I have my hands on about 30 Gig of Arcade goodness, and felt the need to stuff it in a cabinet for full effect.

Hmm, not sure where to buy those. I went to school with a guy that maintained the arcade room for a pizza place or something. I remember him mentioning about going out and buying them. You may want to just try and ask around at places that already have them where a good place to get a vintage one for cheap would be.

Guh, I am totally ready to do this, look at some of these:

Only two things in my way, 1) Can't afford it ATM, 2) No room for it
But, damn.... that looks sweet

i wouldn't mind seeing someone put together a 4 station deathmatch cabinet. like one of the huge mofos you used to see at arcades, for the VR tank games.
i like mame and all, but the retro impulse lasts for maybe a week with me; then i'd have to tear the damn thing down.
one can only look at crappy graphics for so long...

Jackpot!
A guy who is into MAME (and I mean *INTO IT*) is ditching one of his 4 player cabinets, with a 25" display in it, ready for MAME.
