We're all doing it, so what are we watching, and more importantly what SHOULD we be watching.

I just finished Carnivale...I found it to be quite excellent. The entire series is out on DVD. It consists of only two seasons, and the extras are excellent.

I'm also on the 4th Season of 6 feet under, and the 2nd Season of Nip/Tuck.

I have Netflixed Carnivale, but haven't received it yet. I also have Firefly on the list, but I have a feeling it will be purchased before it moves up on the list.

I borrowed Penn and Teller's Bullshit from a friend.

We have a dvr so we record a bunch of stuff.

The only tv on dvd sets I've ever bought were Twin Peaks and My So Called Life, though I've rented House and Monk.

Black Adder
Monty Python's Flying Circussssessssss...

I can (and do) watch all of these over and over. I watched OZ and Sopranos on DVD, but don't own them.

Ok, speaking of OZ...we have watched through Season 4, but Blockbuster doesn't carry or there aren't any copies of Season 5...Has anyone watched Season 5?

Sopranos...Every fucking season is awesome

I didn't really care for Rescue Me. I tried to watch it twice, but I found it rather dull.

I've onyl seen one episode of The Shield and it was a little too overdramatic like CSI: Miami...

All of the HBO shows mentioned kick ass. I think I've now watched all of Sopranos, Carnivale...still need to see some Oz and Six Feet Under...I LOVE comcast on-demand.

Noone mentioned Deadwood though...that show is/was awesome.

I got Fat Actress through netflix..thought it was pretty alright.

We use netflix and green cine both...so we're constantly watching stuff, especially TV shows.

More than any other TV on DVDs though...we've been watching TONS of star trek. Original series, TNG, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise. Sigh. I think I'm becoming a damned trekkie.

How's about what shows that are currently on TV? Anyone watching HEROES? The new episode tonight...kicked so much ass. Wowzers.

My best friend was watching Heroes when I visited her last night...it looked good....it makes me think of the xmen though.

House MD is my favorite show right now.

I also like Project Runway, Dog the Bounty Hunter (I don't know why ok, its like a carwreck I can't look away), Monk, Survivorman, Mythbusters, the Daily Show and the Colbert Report.

Hmm...

the entire series:
Monty Python's Flying Circus (yes, it's aproximately 4,000,000,000 discs).
Cowboy Bebop
Robotech
Firefly

Others:
Stargate SG-1 (have seasons 1-5 so far)
Battlestar Galactica (seasons 1-2)
Dr. Who (season 1...the new one)

I don't know if I'm interested in Dr. Who season two yet. Christopher Eccleston was REALLY good as the Doctor, the new guy is....not as good.

New shows that are awesome so far:

Shark (James Woods playing a cutthroat attorney who is also an asshole. How can you go wrong?)

Jason and I are obsessed with Heroes. Seriously.

Matter of fact, let's have a thread for it in General.

Packaged 4 discs to a set. 3 sets available. Expensive. You'll have to check Amazon for the episode listings. Did not care much for sets 2 and 3 due to entire discs of Road Runner (Same joke, repeat ad nauseum) and Sylvester and Tweety. Hoping to "Bob" that a 4th set will have some (all) Foghorn Leghorn and Pepe LePew.

I haven't gotten the pleasue of seeing SHARK, but that's definetlty on my to rent list when it comes out.

Six Feet Under. Let's talk about this...Because that's what the thread was meant as discussion, not lists...has anyone watched past season 4...I'm stuck in the middle of it right now, without the motivation to go on. The end of season 3 was sooo rough, and season 4 has been a nightmare, but I really really want to find out what happens. I know Claire is gonna do some stupid shit.

As to OZ...has anyone seen season 4 of that? I'd like to rent it, but Blockbuster doesn't carry it, and I really don't want to buy it.

I've seen Deadwood once, and I loved it! But I'm trying to finish Nip/Tuck, Six Feet Under, and Desperate Housewives right now.

Nip/Tuck has definetly had it's disappointing moments, but 90 percent of the time it's killer. It's definetly filled with "Oh MY GOD!" and "No no no!" Along with "HOOOOLY SHIT!" Which is my favorite part about it. If it suprises me on the occasion, I can dig it.

As for the Office, I've seeen a few epicsodes and really liked it.

NCIS...that is pure fucking trash...like CSI :Miami.

*NOTE* CSI :Miami is the absolutly worst acted show on TV now...it is my worse than the scum off of the bottom of the lake referance. Make note of it now, because I will be using it a lot.

I am dying to figure out what in Six Feet Under, but alas things don't always work out.

So....I will be watching Dead Like Me instead and when Dexter comes out maybe that.

I watched a sneak peak of Dexter online yesterday. It was more than anyone could have asked for.

I saw my first episode of Dead Like Me today. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'll rent the first disc of the first season...if I'm not impressed I'll drop it.

I've been watching it. Awesome premise... but the writing is kind of silly. They're trying way too hard to make Dexter into Patrick Bateman, and it comes off as goofy, not sinister. But overall it's better than most of the crap out there.
