Funny call to Verizion Customer Service, you only need to listen to the first few minutes.

One of the many reasons I hate cell phone companies. AT&T screwed me over by offering $10 a month for free incoming calls, then charged me about $350 in overtime because they don't HAVE $10 a month for free inc calls, when I pointed out that it reads on my BILL $10 a month for free inc calls, they said, oops, your right, and refunded me THE TEN DOLLARS! They saw no reason they should refund the overages, so they are enjoying that bill to this day, bastards. :banghead:

Yeah... you should definitely report that to the Better Business Bureau or something of that sort... your situation pisses ME off, so I can only begin to wonder how YOU feel about it...

Last cell phone I owned, I payed an overage of about $550.00. Needless to say I canceled the service and have not owned a cell phone since, it's been 6 or 7 years.

funny thing is, they probably aren't. they're just the people you get to yell at.

the people in charge of billing (and i mean the people in charge, not the ones who bill you) at least in most companies, you'll never get to speak with - they couldn't give a shit less if you were overcharged or not. especially if they have you on a direct debit plan - in a case like that, even if they have to eventually refund you, it's a profit for them.
