Pink Floyd Fans check this band out!
"The Machine" is playing blue cats Thurs Jan 18th
I saw "The Machine" last year when they came through, and was VERY impressed. Floyd is one of my all time favorite bands, so I was skeptical when first going to see em. I was however amazed at their performance. There were moments during their show you could close your eyes and feel like you were at a true Pink Floyd concert. Their set list ran the entire gambit of Floyd's catalog with at least one if not more songs every album Floyd recorded along side with a nice side serving some Syd Barrett solo tunes. While the aural offering is of the greatest importance to me in a concert, so also is the stage performance. "The Machine" didn't disappoint there either. True to the Pink Floyd tradition, the light show was fantastic, in fact one of the best light shows I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in a bar venue! The band however didn't just rely on the lights, as they themselves interacted very well with the crowd to keep an energy throughout their show.
In short if your a Pink Floyd fan, this band should definitely be checked out. It's as close as any of us may get to seeing the real thing, unless Floyd reunites again. Hope to see some of you at this show!
