There is a reason this topic is in the dumpster....I got into a discussion with my best friend about whether or not there is such a thing as having a fetish for tall men. I figured I would post it here and get some opinions. Now, if there is such a fetish, I guess I am a victim of it because to me the bigger the better. I don't mean like 6'2, I mean like 6'5 and up! Crystal (my friend) said she has never heard of a tall man fetish before, but hey, you never know.

Again, this is definately dumpster material....

I think it is preference in your case. I personally have no preference in the height of whomever I might be interested in. It seems women are most particular about this.

A fetish is any object to which one is excessively devoted. You would literally have to worry about nearly nothing but their height. If that be the case, then it's the first case of a height fetish I have heard of.

I prefer men to be larger than me in height & overall size. If a guy is too small framed, he seems more like a child (in my head anyway) & that's just a turn off.

I think you guys are right, it is more preference. I am not devoted to tall men....lol...how could one be devoted to tall men? Anyways, I like taller men but it is more about personality than anything for me. If he happens to be over 6'5 then it is a bonus. I have dated shorter but I still say the taller the better.

And it is pretty messed up to reject someone over his/her height. But chances are the individual is vain anyway, so you did not miss anything.

See, now that is what I am talking about! The tallest I have ever dated was 6'8, about 240 or so. It was fun needless to say:) I guess it is more or less the safety factor. I always felt safe around him, and he was really good at getting things from the highest shelf in my kitchen.
