I bought my ticket this morning while half asleep. I don't even remember where I am, well maybe something like center left row 9 on the aisle or something. I don't know, I don't care, its my birthday and I bought myself morrissey.

Well, who's going tonight?

I'm so excited...sucks though I have a cold and get to be miserably sick while seeing my favorite lyricist ever.

So... how was it? Those of us who can't get out on weeknights want to live vicariously through you!

I guess I'm still in shock that Morrissey was in Knoxville. And the TN Theatre was stunning...I hadn't seen it since the remodel. Like I said, I have a cold so I was feeling sort of tired and out of it most of the time but I still loved it. I didn't see hardly anyone I knew, only 3 or 4 people. Which has made me wonder where all these like-minded folks have been all my 27 years, lol.

I have come to dislike "How soon is now?" since its the only smiths songs goth dj's feel they can ever play, but seeing it live somehow erased all those years of having it shoved down my throat at clubs and in buffy and nissan commercials.

I thought it was funny when he reworded the lyrics to Irish Blood, English Heart to say, "I've been dreaming of a time when
americans are sick to death of republicans" and it got a big cheer from the audience...then afterwards he says,

"But please, america, not Hillary Clinton".

He switched his shirt 3 or 4 times when they got sweaty, baring his chest, which I'm not sure I wanted to see, but he didn't look to bad for a guy thats my moms age.

So I've seen my favorite lyricist ever...in my hometown...I guess I'm closer to dieing happy. :D
