Part the Third....

So there I was, defrocked of finery, showing only the near-perfect form that the gods had blessed me with (all except unmanagable hair, what a curse, let me tell you!) Standing in very cold water, and I need not tell you how detrimental that could be, as I waved my satin boot at this ever so lovely vision of a forest nymph! Could my luck be changing already...? *baudy wink*

"Well hello, there O loveliest ladies of nature's true beauty" (Woo em, I say) She giggled and blushed at my remark as I stepped onto the bank, setting down my boot. Fluttering some quite long and beauteous eyelashes at me, she cooed, "What brings you to the forest, cutey?" Flashing my most winning smile, I answered, in a most grevious and downtrodden tone...

"A good question my dear, I was set upon by vicious and evil humans who do wickedness and other bad things. They were many I was but one, I fought what I could but alas I had to flee, injured and alone, into this ever so lovely forest where I knew I could take refuge amongst the glory that is Nature." (OK So I was laying it on thick, wouldnt you?)

"Oh You poor baby, can I kiss it and make it better?" she ran her fingers through my hair and located the knot that the local ogre squad had left me with, and apologized as I winced at her touch at the tender spot. "Don't you worry none, honey bunny, we'll take care of that and make you all better," she cooed. We? I thought for a second and then shrugged, the more the merrier...

The difficulty I had, asking her to turn around so that I could at least slip on a pair of cream-colored breeches (that went so well with my complexion) was a chore to say the least. Nymphs and modesty dont mix. So, after much giggling and teasing thereof, I was finally dressed, with matching scarlet cheeks from all the blushing I had done.

As we walked along the primeival forest, she pointed out the local fauna and what they had been up to for the past century. Mind you, I dont mind local gossip, but flowers and shrubbery does seem to get a bit monotonous.

Twas then that a large roar did cause me to jump, and my companion did fade into the woodworks, literally. I drew my faithful rapier (jewel encrusted hilt, gold filigree, monogrammed) and prepared for battle!
Then I was struck from behind and knocked into the foilage rolling head over heels (oh no! grass stains!)...

What has befallen our hero?
What of the battle to come?
And will this be a 12 change of underwear serial?

Tune in next time for our exciting program...
