I, too, believe in demons, after seeing them & hearing them while totally sober & uninfluenced. Absolutely terrifying if I do say so myself.

As for ghosts, yes to that too. Dad visited me in a dream a week or two after his death. Also, I've visited homes where not all the residents were as alive as others.

The freakiest thing I've ever experienced, though, was seeing my ex-husband's doppleganger on the opposite end of our house from where I knew he was. I called to J.J. & heard his voice answer me from the other end of the house while I was still viewing the double in front of me. We spent the night elsewhere that evening, & moved shortly afterwards. Probably had nothing to do with the house, but all the wierd shit that went on there never troubled us again after we left the place.

I've learned a few tricks over the years to keep those pesky, mischeivous spirits at bay, though. Loud noises & laughter seem to bother them, so if you ever feel creeped out, try blasting a stereo or laughing of your own tension. I've also been known to address them, respectfully, & ask that they cease their antics in my presence, as they cause considerable distraction & difficulties.

Silly? Insane? Both, probably. ;)

I always dream of those whom I'm recently lost...but I never considered them ghosts...just memories twirling about in my head...however, that reminds me of a neat story about my grandmother in the weeks following my grandpa's death.

He died in August and a few months later she had a dream in which he was sitting on his side of the bed. He said "I've got two gifts for you...one for Christmas, and one for our anniversary". She thenwoke up.

Closer to Christmas, she got a phone call from the JCPenny Catalog. The sales associate explained that my grandfather had contacted them and asked if they could let him pay for something months ahead of time and deliver it around Christmas, because he knew he was dying of lung cancer and didn't know if he would be around to give it to her at that time. The sales associate said their was also a letter, and that my grandfather had said she'd know where to find it.

She was sort of at a loss, but then when she was getting her baking pans out of storage, her eyes fell on his tackle box, and she knew thats where it had to be...and there it was.

In the mail came the biggest diamond earrings and ring I've ever seen. I thought it was such a wonderful tale and it's my fav xmas story.

I also dreamt many times about him and my uncle who died at 42 of hep C. Most of them were dreams in which they hadn't really died..and were still around me and my family.

you can see where im going with this.

It's worthy of note, that most semi-credible (which is as credible as one gets, in this day and age) paranormal researchers use various electromagnect readers to determine if a place is really "occupied" by a (ghost/living impaired/non-human/non-corporeal/entity - take your pick) , so to speak.

Even then, they all seem to agree that what we know most certainly, is how little we do know about the subject.

All I really have to contribute is: you can't see the wind, but shit, you can feel it. I know I can, at least.

Perhaps some have thicker skin than others.

ive hung out with chasers. they never have the type of equipment that they would need and furthermore i dont even think it exists.
my hypothesis is usually (when im researching anyway) that its a spectrum of energy that we dont understand or have identified.
some of the work is conclusive and i think sometimes its a match, but considering for this theory to fall into place you would have to take into considersation the fact of all the mutliple wavelengths of energy in a human and the fact that the energy of the astral plane is a plane beyond our 3-d existance.. something we cant yet understand. but occasionally the chasers seem to find a wavelength they can isolate. the results when they do (that ive seen or heard, mostly thru documentaries that i sometimes question the validity of) are fucking WILD.
thinking that a pesron could understand all the different factors we can hint at with the equipment the use seems like a joke to me...
the effects of death + the energy spectrums we dont understant + varing wavelenghts... blah..
im not saying WE ARE ALL ENERGY GET A CRYSTAL!! im just sayin there seems to be some validity to existance being tied to an energy exchange.
trying to explain the whole theory without typing a paper on it is like justifing gangsex with typhoid mary.

Does seeing a demon count. I was only 7. Oh OK....I have seen some pretty wild unexplainable stuff,But from what I have noticed the more you open yourself up to seeing ghosts, the more you see. I guess one could blame it on ones imagination, but, who can really prove it? I believe in just about everything...until I have adequate proof that it does not exist(To me).
Yes, I have wished you were dead. You are just another face in the crowd, someone who brings me suffering, someone I truely hate.
