Fuck me gently with a chainsaw. They just posted this on AICN. Long one of my favorite films of all time, and probably my favorite animated film, Disney announced last year that Miyazki's Porco Rosso would be the next to get the "disney makeover." The French dub had the amazing good sense of casting Jean Reno as the lead. Who would we get? My favorite choices were Reno or Bob Hoskins...But who do we get? I can't even say it so I'll just cut and paste below...

According to Nausicca.net and Anime on DVD, Disney has announced the cast that they will be using for the English dub of the Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli movie Porco Rosso. John Lasseter will be serving as executive producer and Tony Bancroft doing the direction.
