okay, i am usually quiet. but goddamit i want to know if there are any decent guys on this fucking planet between the ages of 20 and 25. and if so...........................WHEREN THE FUCK ARE THEY? or is this age designated for childish antics? i don't understand. i'm 21, red headed and cute, whats the problem? i want to meet a guy that is emotionally past the age of 13, is this so hard? is that too much to ask for? did i not get the memo or something? why can't i find my lobster? where is my man in shining armour? it doesn't even have to be shiny, damn.

there's just a shortage of good people in the world..

your best bet is to become incredibly selective and not settle fo anything less. you doubt your self-worth....you end up with a fucktard. this happened to me on multiple occasions, damned near screwed up my life until I decided to not let it. 8-)

This is what happens....

Nice people meet mean people and are "off the market" while mean people tend to stay "on the market" even though they are seeing someone else.

This floods the market with mean people.

The best way around this is to make some friends with couples. Figure out which ones are the good ones, and befriend them. HOPEFULLY with any luck, you'll become great friends, and should you both become free of loosers, you can hook up.
(not saying you should break up relationships here)

Then marry them asap.

This is how I got my hubby. I was hanging out with he and his girlfriends for a few years and was like, "Damnit! He's so nice to his girlfriends and my boy is such an ass!!! Oh... waitamin.... bwhahahahahaha!"

And he was fresh out of highschool when we first met, and I waited about 3 years (let him age a bit) then snagged him. We married when he was 21.

But, that's how you gotta do it these days.

But seriously, I think that a good idea is to really get to know people, be friends first, and see how it goes from there...

agreed. im 22 and i think im completely stable but people tell me constantly im totally fucking nuts.
sanity is relative term. find someone whos tooled on your level.
i think alot of guys are grrrls around this age just get jaded and stop giving a shit for a while. most people 20-25 seem to all be reeling from some psycho-hose-beast or are with the person that will be their next marriage.
maybe its just me and my apathy shield towards women right now, but id say we are mostly better off alone because most of the people at this point in life have enough issues to subscribe to and make case studies out of.

Define 'decent'. quite simply a normal definition would exclude anyone who would come to these forums

outside of that, if you look for something, youll find it, if you really want to

personally, I do consider myself a decent guy, dont cheat, not possesive or controling, not that it has gotten me anywhere mind you, ive been hurt just like everyone else

and like previously stated, its hard to find a decent partner, among so many out for no good, so to speak

Might I offer a bit of advice from an old ass? I will be 35 next week....I've experienced MUCH in my years. STOP LOOKING!!! HAVE FUN!!!! I STRONGLY suggest that you not consider any male seriously until you are at least 26 years old. Yes, I know, it is wonderful to have someone that cares about you, but it is much better to be comfy with your own self. When you are completely comfy with whom you are and stop looking for your "knight", that is when he will arrive on his horse. I promise, I do speak from experience! I didn't find my "knight" till I was 32 years old......but he has been well worth the wait.

But at the same time...people always tell me "You'll find someone when your not looking." I dunno if that is true or not but it's awfully damn hard to NOT look...

Well me myself i'm 20 and i consider myself a decent guy. i'm not totally sane but none of us really are. i'm actually in the hunt for someone right now.

I am at most of the Sanctus, so i'm not that hard to fine, there are quiet a few poeple that know who i am, so look me up. I'm not anarrogant person taht won't talk to someone.

I suppose this would depend on your definition of "decent".

If you're looking for someone who has no emotional baggage, isn't jaded in the least, or never has a difficult time dealing with situations... well, quite frankly, what you're really looking for is a bunny rabbit.

And even then, some bunnies are psychotic.

I have no plans for finding a "mate" or "husband". I have no desire to date ever again. the only thing I do plan on is mysteriously dying at 40. most likely from boredom.

I think it's a good way to go, relationships are such bullshit. god, I dread the next shitty relationship I get into. my last ex turned me into a picky bitch, and no one can live up to my standards. pretty much, my last relationship was really really really awesome, and the person I was with was the best boyfriend I'd ever had. I was treated exactly how I wanted to be treated. so I basically want a relationship similar to that one, but this guy was very "unique" and there aren't many people like him. Therefore, my chances for an easy relationship like ours again is ....slim to none. so I think I've just given up. maybe in like 5 years I'll want to be with someone again. :roll:

i guess my definition of "decent" would be:
*single, without wife or girlfriend
*under the age of 30
*intelligent
*likes a wide variety of music
*likes most animals( i have 2 small dogs)
*not dillusional/crazy( one of my ex's truly believed that i was such a slut that i couldn't even go to walmart to buy tampons without fucking all the cashiers)
*doesn't want to spend ALL his time with me, i do need my own space
*i'm not THAT anal about looks, but if they look like a baboon's ass, i will run the other way
*couteous, to my friends and family, open a door for me once in a while, don't talk down to me, ask before you try to stick it in my ass, etc.
*have their own job, car, and home
*and finally, know what the fuck they want, don't toy with me or string me along, either you want me or you don't :peck:

is this really too much to ask for?
