ILP Scam?

Since the "Writing Scams" thread is a locked topic, I thought I'd make a separate thread for this question: Does anyone know the deal on this alleged International Library of Poetry/poetry.com scam and class action lawsuit? I see their ads everywhere (not being an avid poet I've never checked out their anthologies and whatnot), and wonder in what way they are supposedly scamming/ripping off poets submitting work to them. The link to the StopILP site didn't say much beyond that the site owner was attempting to get together a class action suit, not really *why*...

If you follow the SFWA site links, it'll lead you to this among other sites talking about ILP and all its known names, and includes a link to the transcript of the ABC 20/20 investigation of ILP/National Library of Poetry (a.k.a. Poetry.com) way back in 1998.
