Also looking for an apprenticeship, been told more than once that if I weren't female, they'd do it, but because I am, "NO". :evil:

i have none. the one that i want involves lots of color and detail and last time i looked into, it was going to cost more than $150-$200. i just don't have that kind of money to spend on a tatoo reguardless of how long and how much i've really wanted it.

and not to start some feminist parade or anything, but why the fuck can't you be an apprentise becasue you're female. that doesn't make sense to me.

you can apprentice as a female, saint even has a full time working female artist, where have you asked?

i think my nick says it all, i have a few, largest one covers my back and is still a work in progress, hope to finish it this summer,
and in the next few weeks i hope to start work on the full sleeves

i swore off tats until i get my degree. i get my degree in dec, ive got three planned across my chest and back.... ill get them all thru jan- april.
as of now i have no tats because i cant save enough money to get them the way my bills run

I know I can apprentice as a female, just the places I have checked either didn't have room for another apprentice, or they blatently told me they were not willing to apprentice a woman. But there were only 3 places that said that. I recently found out about the chick at Passion Fish also. I did not try Saints yet, but i definately will, thank you tat2jay

One tattoo on upper left arm, "medieval script" letter H (this is what they told me at the tattoo place, I just thought it looked cool) which most people think is a Chinese symbol of some sort. I plan to get another very very soon, just not sure what kinda tat to get this time or where.

1) The first letter of each of my 3 midgets names in Chinese on my upper outter right thigh.
2) A dolphin jumping out of a wave on my left shoulder blade.
3) A 'family' symbol on the left side of my neck
4) An ankh on my upper left arm.
5) A vampire mouth with bat wings coming out of it on my outter, lower left thigh.

I want, at least, one more...... a bat to span my lower back. I have yet to find a design that 'feels' right.

And that is so important! The first tat I got, all I knew was that I wanted a bat. I didn't see one I liked and he said "i can do a bat. That' s easy." I went with friends and we were all getting one regardless, so I thought what the hell, go for it. How bad could it look? :roll:

The "bat" looks more like a cockroach with wings.

For my second, I took some time and brought in the exact design I wanted. I've had it for about 15 years, still looks great and I've never regretted it.

I have one on my shoulder it's a music note flame thingy...it's my own design, my friend in Michigan did it for me. I know I want about 4 more...it's just a matter of getting back up to Michigan to do it.

I have 4 . Right arm, right leg, belly and my newest / largest one
(not finished) on my back. It will spain my whole back when completed.

Try Matt @ Saint . I never draw my tats he will take you ideas and draw one for you. I have been amazed every time i give him an idea. Its like he sees what i see.
