Trash for Treasure Sale

today and tomorrow

8-4 pm

115 Royal Heights Dr in South knoxville.

it s a yard sale for my moms charity, Interfaith hospitality Netwrok,which is an organization dedicated to involving churches in the KNoxville area to house homeless families for a week or so at a time so that they are not split up for housing. It also has plans for vocational training and programs to get families back on their feet.

To my knowledge, the current options for homeless families in Knoxville involve spiltting the families up........meaning if a battered woman must go to a shelter and she has a young boy over the age of twelve, he would be sent to a men's shelter......BY HIMSELF!!!! I'm sure in a time of vulnerability as homelessness, I wouldn't want my son seperated from me. The program will be available through Knox Area Rescue Ministries in march 2005.

I want to thank Janell and The Sym for coming by and buying stuff for charity......it means a lot to me and the charity the money went to.

You still have a chance to get more stuff today from 8-4

there are antiques, plates, old handmade and vintage dolls, lamps, christmas stuf DIRT CHEAP, clothes, toys, sheet music,

she also has a castle Greyskull upstairs on the couch.......she forgot to put it out. but if you want it go by and ask her about it, it has no accessories....but I have a coupla loose He-man figures I will throw in if you want it!
