Sanctus MASKED BALL - Sunday Feb 20th

Post by Bone »

Image
Sunday Feb 20th 2005,
We shall hold a grand masked ball
and dance toward the totality of the midnight hour, then on through the night.

We ask only that you be clothed in your most elegant finery,
and masked so that our faces, and loyalties, are hidden.
Let us present such a dichotomy: beauty and grace marred by the grotesque, that even the creatures of the dark shall shudder at the windows and hide.
For in this night of decadence,
we shall outdo the dark spirits themselves!

Grand UnMasking to take place at the stroke of midnight, but the dancing and revelry to continue till 3am

What - The Sanctus Masked Ball
When - Sunday Feb 20th 2005
Where - Blue Cats in the Old City (125 E. Jasckson Ave)
Who - You if Your 18+
How Much - $5

Hmm I wonder who that masked man with the glasses and the bracers is....
In all seriousness I doubt I could find a decent mask and keep my glasses on, and I'm blind without em, damn fashion nazis

You could always find something that covers just the bottom half of your face, like a medical mask does.

Woo Hoo! The kids are out of school the next day, so I can stay out late without the dreadful repercussions! Now, where to find a mask... hmmm...

Party City usually has a pretty good stock of masks. From the rubber zombie masks to the base white ready to adopted to your artistic creations type masks.

Neat... a brief collection of your standard gothic, medieval "masquerade" style leather masks though a bit pricey. I may use the patterns as a starting point when I make my own mask. The Oblivion collection is worth a glance, too.
