The location is actually quite nice. It's in the center of the town, but because it's such a small, quiet town, you barely notice. They have SCA demonstrations, and belly dancers.

If you're already going that way, or are a rennie fanatic, it's worth the trip.

Let me see how I am fairing after the 80's night.

....As well as how the weather is doing....could be a good excuse for a motorcycle trip.

Didn't rain ALL day ;) ...gave me an excuse to wear my cape, anyways...I had a good time on Saturday, despite the mud and the definite lack of anyone I knew being there...and the belly dancers were sure purty...

Lets take the bike..

Bike won't start

Battery is dead

Replace the battery

bike won't start

might be the starter switch

Take it apart....nope....
but what is this?

Throttle cable is about to break!

Hmmm.....better stop now before something else goes wrong.

Those of you who were able to attend Shakespeare and Friends would see a similar venue at the Oak Ridge Renaissance festival. So far, the Known World Players (the people that do the chess match) will be there. We're also trying to get Labyrinthe (the belly dancer group) but so far have not heard back from them. Not to mention that Debbie Beal, the hostess of Shakespeare and Friends has played an instrumental role in establishing the Oak Ridge Renaissance festival by providing advice and contact lists to help get this festival off the ground.
