year 30,passes by with hope of the next
year 31,opens on a good note, but ends with a sigh
year 32,cracks open and a sob spreads out
year 33,slids down into a deep shadow of dout and pain
year 34,springs forth in a wave of new shadows
year 35,plain for a new ,ends in a troubled mind
year 36,forgotten and feeling old ,saddened by looking back
year 37,swears not to another year Marked By Tears

This poem was really great, mainly because it saddened and got to me. I am 25, and already feeling the way you do in the poem. I look back at 18 in my high skewl years and wish to stay that age 4ever. The teens I know still accept me though, cuz I look 19. (I get carded all of the time, happily) But 37 isn't old either. Manson turned 36 in Jan., and I still look at him as a youngin'. So hey, at least we aren't in our sixty's yet! LOL Live young stay young is my belief, hell look at Steven Tyler, he's 58! LOng live our youth, and may we age gracefully!
Live for today, it may be your last.
