to make up for the rest of the country NOT seeing the misfits semi-reunion, it is offically announced that

The Blackest of The Black Tour 2005 has been announced! Doyle will be joining Danzig for a Misfits set for the entire tour. Since this may be Glenn Danzig's last tour, be sure to catch this historic event. Check out details on the upcoming tour here:

nice to see an atlanta show added to this tour though. the few doyle sets from the last danzig tour were smokin'. this is turning out to be a great year for concerts.

funny thing about that punch video is the convient location of the camera, the fact you can tell it doesnt connect, and the fact danzig had multiple assult charges placed on him afterwards but they didnt have any.
the dude that supposedly "pwned" him wasnt even in the band.

no fucking kidding. any extra cash danzig makes with that doyle set goes to doyle and the other band. ive seen pics of danzig's house. its an average size place. probably only two bedrooms. owns A car. not a fleet. hes not rich in the fucking least. rick rubin took all his money.

jerry only however, is beating a dead horse to death like no other punker in history with the release of the misfits vs. the nutley brass.
jerry has been trying to destroy the misfits good name for 10 years since that graves shit.
and jerry only, is fucking loaded from misfits merchandise sales.
the misfits were abrasive, dark, fast, angry, hooky, and well.. damn why dont i just say Glenn. he was the band. then the band became samhain and that became danzig.
anyone who actually reads past forum posts knows that. hells theres books on the early punk days, a few of them even cover that. plus D himself as said it for his entire career.
jerry wasnt the first bassist either. before jerry joined it was gonna be 02//1977 - 03//1977 Glenn Danzig(der) Diane DiPiaza(bass) Jimmy Battle(guitar) Manny (drums, who played in all the earlier recordings as well) but danzig 86'ed the idea of playing electric piano. one of those other two *i dont know which* helped in his previous band attempt Whodat And Boojang. or maybe it was Talus. one of the fucking two.

Jerry Only thinks he IS the Misfits. After the whole "Kryst the Conqueror" debacle in the late 80's, I guess he figured it was time to resurrect the Misfits name or go work at McDonalds.

If this really is Glenn's last tour, I wish he would play a set that spanned his whole career. Because I'm still pissed that I missed the Samhain reunion tour.

if you ask me nicely ill let you pet one of my ticket stubs from the samhain reunion gigs i saw.

and hes already backpeddling that last tour comment.
he will end up like neurosis playing a handful of live shows till hes dead, but id say no more formal touring.

i almost agree on the career spanning thing but ive sayin its the same setlists as the last tour with more misfits tunes.

im totally cool with that because the CoS tracks go over killer live. i am gonna be pissed when he doesnt play 7th house, but ive seen it live like 3 times anyway.
until CoS he usually played 2 hour gigs anyway, this tour he will the whole time is my bet.

I like the music at the end.I have heard stories about what happened but i still think its funny as fuck. people will spin it what ever way they want to.spin it so danzig is the hero or an asshole.i like to think he got knocked out. :lol:
