Alright...Now to get around to posting on this...

JC...most excellent post. Goths have passive suicide like everyone else. If we were all killing our selves all the time...then there wouldn't be so goddamned many of us...We wouldn't have gotten to the point that there are retail stores based around us...and be able to keep them open. Which as a side note here I have to put...I hate those godamned mallrats that make us all look like bums that don't have jobs. It's fucking expensive as hell to be all gothier than thou...and more importantly...let's chek out the bar tab...Christ you need to be pulling in at least 40k a year just to drink and dress comfortably in the gothier and goth architecture scenes...Moving on...

Call me Commie all you want...but at least there would be decent parents who actually *gasp* wanted their kids...rather than twenty or thirty somethings who get preggerz while married, and go "Oh, this is going to be so wonderful..." Unfortunatly, child rearing in this nation has became nothing more than a joke and inconvience...and it makes me sick...

Now on to the kudos part...You moms who get pregnant at like 14 or 15 and hold down your shit...I love you guys. I have a relative that something unfortunate happened to when she was young, and she kept the child...busted her ass to get through school, and is most likely the most attentive parent that I have ever met. There are parents who want children...and love them unconditionally....even when they are little shits...And this post is not in referance to them...

So don't be offended...

If you are offended...I don't even have kids...take the post for what it is...

I agree with the romance tradgedy bit...i really do...

But, I've known lots of people to kill themselves. Believe it or not...I was Classical playing Model Student through school. But, anyone I had ever know to kill themselves...always had issues with their parents not paying attention to them. I see this as the root of the problem.

My dad is an asshole...a new breed of the shit...and yes, that's where I get the almighty cuntness...but He made some serious effort when I was in my Junior year and he thought I was suicidal...Giving me money to go out on every weekend, so I could be social...Making points to rent movies or watch shows that I would like so we could spend tme together to take my mind off of school/friends/boy etc...I'll put it this way...As much as I had personality clashes with the guy, and hated him...he made an effort not to cause shit or bitch at me when he thought there was a problem.

I've seen kids go to their parents and be sad...looking pathetic...and their parent ask them to go clean the livingroom...not once asking how their day was...or if they were ok...

But I have to say...my favorite parents are the ones that ask how the child's day was...then mid sentence...hand them a task because they weren't listening...Sad.
