It's my life that chose to be friends with you as a kid
It's my life that went to all the party's with you
It's my life that bought the beer.
It's my life that help you steal the car.
It's my life that sang with all the songs on the radio.
It's my life that got drunk with you.
It's my life staring at the head lights of the car speeding towards us.
It was my life that was stolen from me when we crashed.
Now it's my life standing before God that you never told me about
It's my life that I see flash in front of you, I see all the opportunities you
had to tell me but never did.
It's my life that He said He never knew when he didn't find my name
written in the Book of Life as He opened it up.
It's my life that he didn't let in.
It's my life that the demons are dragging down into the pit.
Now it's my death that's spending an eternity in hell, where were
you my friend?
