Need some advice

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Need some advice

Post by faeryrealm »

Since I need plenty of time to get it all together, maybe someone on here can help me...

My daughter's school has an anime club, and I'll be one of the chaperones for MTAC in April. Don't know how much I'll get to see and enjoy, seeing as I'll be herding cats...er, about 40 middle schoolers...but at the very least I need a kick-ass outfit. Since I'm more into Sci Fi/Horror than Anime, and we've never been to MTAC, I am in need of some couture advice. For AdventureCon I'll probably have some Browncoat gear by then, but for MTAC?

I've thought about...
Trixie (one teacher is going to be Speed Racer)
Lady Penelope (from Thunderbirds)
Science Patrol member (from Ultraman)

I am under strict orders to not mortally embarass my 14-year-old. I have threatened to default as Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo.
It was the winter of my heart's desire, the spring of my autumnal fancy, the summer of my discontent; all in all, I think it was Monday.

NOOOO..... not Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo! anything but that! lol. I've watched a couple of those episodes... it has no storyline... but anyways...

it depends what you look like. Different ppl have different styles. this said, this is the only way I can really tell how to help you. I know some of my fav female anime characters are Kagome, Sango (both from Inuyasha), Rukia (from bleach)...

but to be more towards their ages... what about Misty (from pokemon), or someone from YuGiOh. that would be cool for them...

There's also Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, shoudl be easy to put a costume together for them, you'll just be in trouble if there's a Brock there.

How about Kiki? That would be dead easy to make as a costume.
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.
