The official Temple rumers thread

The forum's been a little dead lately so let's gossip.

I heard something to do with a carjacking at Temple and a long time supporter being kicked out for no good reason. Anyone know the dealeo or have opinions?

I also heard that Jay himself was robed at gunpoint at the end of the night a few weeks back .

Inquiring minds want to know... well mainly me mostly because i don't get out much these days.

Rumor has it, that Nashvillian with the camera will be at Temple this weekend. This is further supported by a purchase of a coffee maker.

I heard the same robbery rumor, but none of the rest.

I'm sure you heard about the poor girl who broke her leg Temple before last though. Has anyone heard how she's doing or know who she was?

a sober girl was she, she had stepped onto the stage to request a song, and when she stepped off, she miscalculated and fell, clean break through the lower part of her leg, she had a pin put in at the hospital and is doing just fine, she called me to let me know all was well and she would be back when she was in town again (she is from cincinnati)

as for the other rumors, i will address those tonight when i get home,
for the most part, completely false, i would however like to hear more details about the long time regular getting kicked out, if its what i think then i have the details about that too

since being completely sober for over a month now, its interesting to watch the night and see what happens with clear vision then hear the rumors later

i heard that 'vader gave up on *NIX, as well as apple, this past weekend and has spent over $6k building a machine to run this forum on vista.

only IE 7 will be supported, and then you'd better have flash 9.

i was there both nights and yes they are true. i saw the girl's leg....it was DEFINITELY broken. she comes down from Cinncinatti to visit friends occasionally and of course go to temple.

the other thing you speak of, yes i saw some remnents of that at the end of the night. about the patron....

that sounded rather odd.

I'm glad she's on the mend & doing well. We had just noticed her dancing minutes before & were commenting on her pretty legs, actually. She had cute stockings & seemed to be having such fun. I must say, I thought the situation was handled in a beautifully professional manner. You've got a good team down there, Jay.

in response:
there was no carjacking at temple
although there is a possibility that a carjacking occured to one of our patrons after temple (approx 330 am) but not at the club

a long time supporter being kicked out for no good reason, do you honestly think i would allow someone to get kicked out if there wasnt a reason? - give me a break, that sounds like somthing that would happen at another club that has really overly aggressive bouncers
(speaking of, the bouncers that were working at the ballroom have been relieved of duty for various reasons)

i have never been robbed, (knock on wood) although a few months ago there were a few people that showed up at the club, quickly decided it wasnt their scene and left the club around 1130 or so, as they were leaving i asked if any of them knew how to unlock a car that had its keys locked insidejust because they were passing by at the time i was trying to unlock the door, they decided they wanted to see what was in my left front pocket, i grabbed his hand and subdued him while his friend put somthing on my neck and told me to let go, instead i applied more pressure, they fled the scene
thats it

im not totally sure, but i think toni's boyfriend was outside when it occured. and there were one or two others that witnessed the scene.
