So, who's ready for another KG event?

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

I think we should have a KG cookout or picnic. Something outside, outside of smoky clubs and drunks. Something we could bring the kids to and such.

I assumed you mean club type thing, but I have meant to throw this idea out for a while...I don't ever feel like I really get to know anybody new at bars and I guess I'm just over the bar atmosphere.

Bring it on! Just as long as it's on a weekend (some of us work for a living)

Agreed!

I'd be up for a Friday night club event (I'm always ready for some dancing fun) or maybe a Saturday afternoon group outing like Morgan suggested. We could have everyone bring something & make it a cook out. :D

Would love to have another event! And a picnic and such would be nice too...maybe getting older has something to do with it but at times I am over the bar scene too. It might require more planning (ugh) but maybe a weekend event? Like a picnic one day and the next night a club night? Just a thought:)

We'll shoot for a Friday most likely. Saturdays are obviously out and Sundays suck for most folks.

personally, i can't do sundays - but fridays are way more easy to manage.

the outside thing sounds cool and all to me, but there are some (not i) who are adverse to nature, sunshine, and that horrid thing they call "fresh air"

though frankly, an outside gathering doesn't necessarily *need* to be a KG event, even if it is organized on the forum. you can always put that together yourself. :D

I'd love an outdoor event. :D I have kids too, and the club things are great, but I've never really got to meet or get to know anyone at them either.

Wow, I'm starting to get inundated with "When is the next event?" from various sources. I'm thinking this next one will be big.

I'd certainly love a chance to see some of the KG folks. I doubt if anyone remembers me from my time at the Masquerade (which seems ages ago) My only problem is transportation. Hmm...

What is the deal with the damned glowsticks, I would have figured that Goths would have been the polar oppisite of Candy Ravers.

Yeah. I think everyone but spleen and that other graver kid pukes a little in their mouth when they see them.

It makes me embarrassed *for him*. Like an empathetic embarrassment. In fact I don't think ANYONE really likes the glow sticks besides them.

And yeah you shoud do what you want and all, but have some self respect!

But it doesn't matter I don't see myself going to temple anytime soon.
