BAD News! MLWTTKK and Skinny Puppy not happening

Post by Arkady »

UPDATE:

The Agent that was interfacing with Blue Cats was mistaken an thought the Sick Puppies was Skinny Puppy (like the mistake mentioned further down the thread. We are going to try to make this up to you all. I'll keep you posted on that.

MLWTTKK negotiations went south and they are also not happening.

I'm so sorry guys. I'll keep working on getting SP.

will be playing Blue Cats on two different dates TBA.

We could not have pulled this off if it were not for you the KG public. You keep supporting us and we'll keep bringing in the cool shows!

Cheers!

Jason, if you guys pull this together, hats off. I think Knoxville has the potential for a Skinny Puppy show to be a success, I'll personally promote the living shit out of it.
We saw them in Atl on Thursday, and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen this side of the world. I never got to see them back in the day, (christ, I was too young, lol) but I enjoyed the Atlanta show more than last time they played at the Masquerade, this time around they are playing a LOT more of their older stuff (Rabies, Last Rights, etc) . Ohgr emerged on stage looking like Snake Plissken crawling out of a toxic waste pit. I was all :D to say the least.
Got to hang with cEvin Key for a few, and introduced him to Adam Dill who drew up one of his nasty little drawing to give to them...
Adam really needs to draw up their next album cover, hands down.
Oh, and if you can get Otto von Schirach to open for them as he has been, fuck man, Knox is in for some major rearrangement reaction.
Needless to say will be there, let me/us know ASAP the details so we can help promote.

Adam Deal is amazing...that would be his life's work if he pulled that one off.

I agree about adam's skills. He's quite awesome and I would seriously consider him to draw album covers for any of my own work.

A friend of a friend of a friend told me that he heard that Skinny Puppy is playing a free show in Market Square this Saturday.
If she were a street gang, I'd go to war with her with bottles and chains.

I can see where the mix up might of occurred I am glad that I did not go there to see them under the premises that the music group that I seeing was Skinny Puppy. It would have broke my little black heart.

thanks for the effort though. I've still got Rasputina to look forward to.

:)

Seriously....or at least my attempt at being in a serious type mood....Thanks for getting cool stuff to gather around in Knoxville.
