It's upgrade time...

Welcome to the new KG forum, now running phpBB 3.0.

We'll be tweaking things for a while, but it was time to upgrade. I was deleting 10 - 20 spam accounts a day, and I was tired of it.

There are MANY new features, and some things you're used to have changed. Enjoy!

ooooh! It looks so different, and pretty!

I like it!

I wish I could keep the spam bots away from my forum. I get like 50+ a day on some days :(

But I'm not forum savvy like all you masters, so I don't know how to do that! :P

Spell check is automatic. Misspell a word, and it's underlined in red. Control-click that word (right click if you've got a right mouse button) and it will give you a list of suggested corrections.

i'm not much of a design guy, but i have gigs of books on css.

It's all bloody crap anyway, when can we set it back to the old default. I remember a few forums where you could set the scheme in your control panel. I was fine with that, I don't need this prettified bullshit

I'm not much of doctor, but I've got a lot of books about anatomy.

I'm not much of a programmer, but i've got tons of books on C#

I'm not much of a hairdresser, but I've got a nice collection of scissors.

I have an idea. Why don't the admins check the board and see if anybody would want to do it for free... oh... I mean... "for the community?" We could end up with someone who thinks they know what they're doing making a bunch of graphics that look like they're from the 90's and "dark" colors that guarantee things are illegible as possible...

He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

Actually... I have a real question, too.

Why use phpBB at all?

actually, i was offering the books. like i said, i am not much of a design guy.

but i have to hand it to you, that was an almost decent rant.
