Halloween 2007!

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Halloween 2007!

Post by abreeskye »

Any of you have any updates on which stores have their Halloween stuff?

I can't believe we haven't started talking about this already, lol.

Hobby Lobby just got theirs in last week.
Dollar Tree has a couple things.

Is it me, or is christmas taking over worse than last year???

Anyone been to Joann's, Michaels, AC Moore, Target, etc yet?

I'm so sad that our Hancock Fabrics is gone :(

I haven't even started looking yet. But it has been discussed as far as new house decore for the new place. They are opening a Halloween store off Lovell near Kingston Pike I believe.

Went to Target today....the only thing halloween oriented I found were a few baby clothing items in the baby section :(

Yep, I'm impatient!

I heard from a fellow craft mafia member that AC Moore has some of their stuff out though!

I heard from one of my clients that Big Lots has some good stuff this year. Last year they had crap so I am hoping that they make up for it this year.

I went and they have a bunch of harvest crap, but then you get to the Halloween stuff.........oooooooooo pretty. I want one of those Ravens on this really nice pedastel, but it's like 14 dollars. Maybe later. But yes, cool skulls and hanging figures. I want so much!

Oh and it was the one on Broadway, which apparently is right next to a Halloween store called Spirit that is opening in September. Schweet we have never had a Halloween store out here before.

I'm still looking for some shrunken heads for the tiki torches. I looked EVERYWHERE last year and only found some cheap skull and cross bone garland.

But, at least we got a valuable wreath at Target last year. It's a very pretty black feather wreath. It has been in our bedroom since last November, but it will go back on the front door soon.

They have them at the Big Lots on Broadway. They had two different ones, maybe three, to choose from. I wanted some of them myself.

Yeah, I've gotten some great stuff there over the years. Someone told me today a new Halloween store opened up down in that same shopping center too. Haven't checked it out yet.

Went to the Big Lots on broadway today.
Selection is still small as they are still putting things out but the things that were out were great.

The halloween store next door does not open untill september.
looks like it will be a fairly good size.

Yeah, we went Saturday. The selection is Ok, but some of the prices seem a bit high for Big Lots.

I did get some shrunken heads for $3 though. Rock!

And, my wife bought a new couch and ottoman.....

Damn ...... now where did I put that wining lottery ticket. I actually went to Target and "window" shopped. Karla's eye obsession will be fed this year. I can't wait till they get all their stuff out.

I went to Joanns, Target, Party City, Walmart, Halloween Spirit, and Halloween Adventure yesterday to look at Halloween goodies!

I didn't really have a lot of money to spend, so I didn't get too much stuff.

But, I bought some stuff from Target...OMG. They have some really cool stuff this year. I really love all the little frowny-faced spider stuff!

I got the spider web plates, some black cereal bowls, some glittery spider cups, the spider basket that is 2 baskets in one, some toddler fork and spoon sets. I'm definitely going back for more stuff.

And, I saw Dustin and Tori-bat! there. It was so nice to meet Tori! She has excellent Halloween taste too ;)

I'm looking for a semi-realistic looking syringe for a costume idea that I have....a costume I've been planning, for about, oh...probably 4 years now. lol. If anyone spots any, please let me know! Even if anyone is selling the syringe ink pens this year, I may wind up just getting one of those.

One of the cutest things at the halloween stores (party city had it too) was a cute little white plastic nurse handbag thingie. I'm thinking of getting one of those.

It kind of pisses me off that walmart has human heart ice molds for only TWO BUCKS this year, when for my reception 2 years ago I tried to find one everywhere, and wound up having to pay 8 dollars for mine!
