Web-page creation stuffs

Post by FalseAbsolution »

I'm looking for a good web-site that has an HTML library, and i'm also looking for a web-site that one would be able to learn Flash, you know creating a flash animation. I've used things like Dreamweaver and Frontpage, now i want to do it the hard way, people say you can do things a lot better with code.

Plus i'm open to suggestions on books to pick up as well. Thanks for the help all.

W3 Schools also provides a nice tutorial and reference guide.

White papers? I sort of like RFC dot net. It has some history, after all. :D

For Flash, I'd have to recommend Flahkit for the basics (they also have a ton of free grabbies like loops and such), and Collin Moock for some more advanced techniques with excellent discussion of theory.

For HTML, all of the above mentioned sites are very good. Of course, you could always do it like we did back in the day: view source. :)
The firemen came and broke through the chimney top. And me and Mom were expecting them to pull out a dead cat or a bird. And instead they pulled out my father. He was dressed in a Santa Claus suit. He'd been climbing down the chimney... his arms loaded with presents. He was gonna surprise us. He slipped and broke his neck. He died instantly. And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus.

I agree. This site has it all.

Listen, it doesn't take a GED to learn Flash. Flash has its own tutorial that will teach you the basics very succinctly. You will probably find this is sufficient to your needs. Oh, and Flash, of course, will show you the HTML for what you have done, so setting up animations in Flash and then looking at the script will go toward your learning HTML as well.
