Pfft. Whatever. We were nice enough to throw Rommel out, unseat Petain and pretty much save the French culture, then we hooked them up with that sweet little Marshall Plan, then we had the heart to keep Paris from becoming a vacation spot for the Soviet politburo. This is how they show their gratitude? Fuck France. I say we throw all our financial support into Eastern Europe and watch France rot.

Pfft. Whatever. Do your homework before you slam the French.
BTW, if it weren't for the French, the United States wouldn't exist. Where did all those arms come from during the Revolutionary War? France. Cannons? France. Medical supplies? France. Food? France. Horses? France. Additional fighting men? France.
France is an ally, and a damned good one- they knew better than to support Dubya's war because they knew there are no WMD's, which was the reason Dubya used to go in.
France also had the balls to stick with International Law, which prohibits using preemptive force. That war was illegal- America was in the wrong to start it, regardless of how bad Saddam was (and he was horrible).
Being an ally doesn't mean one blindly follows the leader, you know. Apparently, most of America doesn't grasp that concept too well.

May your dreams be the future you could have had, and your nightmares be the realization that you destroyed your chance to make it reality.

Also of note, most of America believes what the teevee commercials tell them.

That, and an ample helping of HORSECOCK.

I knew someone would bring up the Revolutionary War. Yeah, they did business with us. Thanks, Paris. I believe we paid for all that shit you just made reference to. And they set up blockades, that was nice of them, although they waited until the war was nearly over. How many French divisions fought on the ground alongside ours? How many battles were won because of decisive French intervention? I'd be interested to know that. The British were fighting a war an ocean away from their own country in a time when you traveled by sailboat or breaststroke, their lines of communication and supply were utterly overextended, and I'm sure I can think of a few wars where the resident imperial garrison had a bit more morale. We would have been victorious eventually regardless of that snooty little state across the sea, who acted only to one-up an ancient enemy of theirs anyhow. It's not like they did it because they just loved the Americans.
And wasn't a root cause of the War of 1812 our own anger over the British blockade of France during the Napoleonic Wars, wars of outright imperialism to which we raised not a whisper?
And where was the great American uproar over French colonialism throughout Africa? Did we care? Did we still support them? Yes. That's what your boys are for, to back you through whatever. The French showed where their loyalties lie.
Maybe Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and maybe they don't. I don't care. We did the right thing regardless. And we may have done it without support from our "ally", but we gained something greater in the end: we learned who we can trust.

Comme un français-américain, je suis si très fatigué de tout ceci. Aller l'insulte quelqu'un autrement.
Et aussi, votre avatar semble tout à fait révéler de votre vraie personnalité.
C'est assez.
