Yes I do. However, I'm not saying that it's the only way to live. I feel that it's possible for someone to live with a person all their life and be faithful. It's definitely not always easy, but it can be done. On the other hand, I have friends who are in polyamorous relationships. They are able to have a very meaningful relationship with possibilities, and that works for them. To me, it really depends on the people involved, and if they can be happy in that type of relationship.

I'm in a four-person linear poly relationship. It's not always easy, since you multiply the difficulties of relationships several times, but there are advantages. Sometimes I see people trying to mold their SO into different things, when that person might be better off accepting the SO for who they are and not being mono.

The bottom line, I guess, is not to be anything at all simply because it's "expected" of you. The majority are probably going to be happiest in a monogamous relationship. Others won't. No matter what kind of relationship it is, honesty and communication are the most important thing.

Do I believe in monogamy? Yes, the same way I believe in "red". But I also believe in "blue", which might be someone else's favorite color....

Sure, if that's what both parties really want.

Repeat

I apologize for the repetition on the other board. I tried to delete it but could not. To many drinks to think straight, hence the repetition.
